Earlier this morning Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to an HMV accident on the R538 between White River and Sabie.
On arrival on scene it was established that a logging truck had lost control on a bend, leaving the roadway and rolling down an embankment.
The driver was found entrapped in the wreckage and was extricated using hydraulic rescue equipment, before he was stabilized and transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care.
