MEC for Transport, Bheki Ntuli along with MEC for Roads and Transport, Jacob Mamabolo were part of a two day partnership workshop between the provincial Department’s of Transport, Community Safety and Liaison KZN, Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport and TRANSNET.
The aim of the workshop is to establish a Smart Corridor between the two provinces.
KZN MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison Bheki Ntuli and Gauteng MEC for Roads and Transport, Jacob Mamabolo said the Smart Corridor would assist in growing the economics of both provinces by reviving the rail network. In addition, the Smart Corridor will ensure an easier movement of freight, logistics and people.
