KwaZulu-Natal: In the early hours of Sunday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a truck on fire on the Orthmann Road on ramp in Pietermaritzburg, the scene was assessed an fortunately the driver was not injured.
Shortly after this incident Netcare 911 responded to reports of another truck fire on the N3 near the Mooi Toll Plaza, on arrival the truck was well alight.
The driver was assessed on scene and to be in a stable condition.
Circumstances leading up to the truck fires will be investigated by the relevant authorities.
