Two Municipal employees were injured after the truck they were travelling in overturned on the southbound lane of the R102 in the vicinity of Mt Edgecombe – KZN.
Passing motorists contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) from 12:47 (Wednesday) requesting assistance for the occupants of the bin truck. On arrival, Reaction Officers discovered the MAN truck lying on its side. The driver and his passenger were being treated for their injuries by Medics from a private ambulance service. Traffic has been restricted to one lane which will result in delays for motorists.
Circumstances leading up to the accident have not been established.
