The Gauteng Counterfeit and Contraband Goods task team’s operation has resulted in the seizure of R5.5 million worth of counterfeit goods and over R160 000 in cash in Johannesburg CBD.
This multi-disciplinary task team comprises of members from SAPS Counterfeit and Contraband Goods task team, Commercial Crime Investigations, Brand Protectors, JHB POP, Vispol and Traffic Wardens.
