The correct positioning behind the steering wheel is important for Safety!!

A friend sent a photo capturing the rather reckless positioning of a truck driver behind the steering wheel! We decided to share this with our friend Sean Gray from Nosa Logistics for their comments on this extremely dangerous behaviour:

“Just when you think you have seen it all:

• This driver will not be able today respond effectively in the event of an emergency.
• In conjunction with this, the possibility of the driver becoming too comfortable and therefore sleepy are greatly increased due to his posture.
• His right mirror has most likely also been taken out of operation due to the same.
• The driver desperately needs a Defensive Driving course or refresher course to learn about the consequences of such actions.”

[We can only imagine what the thoughts of the truck or fleet owner would be on seeing this!]
