Transport Department to host colloquium on the Freight Road to Rail Migration Plan

The National Department of Transport has convened a colloquium on the Freight Road to Rail Migration Plan (FRRMP). The colloquium has been organized by the Department and Government Communication and Information Systems (GCIS) in a bid to deepen efforts to develop and finalise the country’s strategy for moving freight to rail. The FRRMP is a strategy that will lay out a road map of how government’s plans to migrate cargo from road to rail in the near future.
