August 28, 2021

Last night Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the R102 near the N2 for reports of a collision.

When emergency services arrived they found that a truck had lost control and collided into a tree.

Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that 1 patient sustained serious injuries and was trapped in the truck. A second patient sustained minor injuries.

Together with Ray Nkonyeni fire and rescue services, Paramedics stabilized the patients and used specialized rescue tools to remove the trapped patient.

The patients were transported to hospital for further treatment.
