A white Tata truck collided with an unoccupied black VW Golf that was parked on Buffelsdraai Road in Inanda today (Sunday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the scene at approximately 10:12 and found the truck lying on its side. The black VW Golf was located several meters down an embankment.
According to the driver of the truck, he was travelling to the Durban Solid Waste (DSW) dump in Redcliffe when the brakes on his vehicle failed while proceeding down a steep hill. The truck overturned and slid several meters on its side before it collided into the black VW Golf that was parked on the roadside.
The two occupants of the truck were not injured.
