- Parliament published the National Road Traffic Amendment Bill [B7 of 2020] and the Transport Appeals Tribunal Amendment Bill, [B8 of 2020] .

- AARTO Update: Minister of Transport Fikile Mbalula announced that the rollout of the Administrative Adjudication of Traffic Offences (Aarto) Act has been postponed due to the outbreak of COVID-19. The Aarto Bill was signed into law last year and was expected to be rolled out in June 2020.

- Our 21st Annual Road Traffic and Transport Legislation workshops have been moved to the following dates:
Stellenbosch – 10 November 2020
Durban – 12 November 2020
Pretoria – 25 November 2020
